* requires the logger to provide proof of minimum levels of insurance
* requires the logger to comply with state Best Management Practices (BMP's).

– put a professional forester in the woods during the sale:
* to look
after your roads, creeks, gates, pastures and uncut timber

regularly inspect the logging job for compliance with contract terms
* we require the timber buyer to post a
performance bond above the price of the timber. It is returned only after the job meets contract terms
* to mark the sale boundaries if needed to protect against
accidental cutting over the line, or cutting inside stream buffers.
